Our vision: more than dentures
Properly fitting dentures contribute to your chewing ability, speech, confidence and healthy digestion. In addition, a healthy mouth aids balance within the body. Our holistic approach focuses on nutrition, saliva quality and the mouth microbiome. This is how we work towards long-lasting oral health.
How to get natural dentures
Dentures should not only fit perfectly, they should also contribute to proper chewing, speaking and a healthy oral balance. That is why we work with the following step-by-step plan:
| Part | Explanation | |
| 1 | First impression | We start by making a dental impression of your jaw using a soft, liquid rubber (alginate). The dental laboratory will use this to make a personalised dental impression tray. |
| 2 | Precision impression | Using your personal dental impression tray, we will make a precise impression of your mouth. This will ensure the dentures fit properly and do not cause problems at the edges of your mouth. |
| 3 | Bite registration | This is where we map the position of your upper and lower jaw, allowing us to optimally determine the position of your teeth. This is important both for the functionality and appearance of your teeth. |
| 4 | Fitting dentures | During this appointment, we will assess whether the dentures fit properly, are comfortable and to your liking. Only when you are fully satisfied will the dental technician complete the dentures. |
| 5 | Final dentures | Your final dentures are ready to be fitted. If you are satisfied, you can take the dentures home immediately. |

Do any teeth need to be extracted? Then a co-payment may apply. Whatever applies to you will be discussed with you first. We will provide you with a personalised quote prior to the treatment which you can submit to your health insurer.
Frequently asked questions
Do dentures look like real teeth?
Yes, dentures are designed based on an impression of your jaw, mouth and teeth so they match the shape, position and colour as much as possible. Adjustments are possible if you have other requirements.
Do I need adhesive paste?
Not if your dentures fit properly. Should your dentures not fit properly, adhesive paste is only a temporary solution. Always contact us for a check-up so our dentists can repair your dentures.
How do I clean my dentures?
Clean your dentures after each meal with a brush and mild soap or a special denture cleaner. Do not use toothpaste or hot water: these may damage the surface. Rinse your mouth, brush your palate and place your dentures in a bowl of cold water overnight. Avoid cleaning products such as toothpaste, bleach or effervescent tablets. These cleaning agents are harmful to your dentures. We also advise against using hot or warm water
Do all teeth have to be pulled for dentures?
Not always. If you still have healthy teeth, partial dentures are also an option. For full dentures, the molars are pulled first, followed by the teeth. Naturally, this is done with an anaesthetic, so it is not a painful procedure.
